Udinese coach Sottil will take Hellas Verona point; happy with goalscorer Samardzic

Udinese coach Andrea Sottil was satisfied after last night's 1-1 draw with Hellas Verona.

Sottil says Udinese went into the game undermanned and was pleased with the draw earned by midfielder Lazar Samardzic.

He said, "We have few solutions, this is true, with all due respect to the new kids who will have a future, but right now we have few solutions

"On Lazar, more than the individual I congratulate in first of all to the boys, they deserved the victory for what they did. Samardzic is improving, especially in defensive movements, he has the quality for certain plays between the lines and has great room for improvement."

Beto had chances to win the game and Sottil also said: "Beto is a hard worker, but with these deep defending teams he struggles a bit. He made a great assist and in a couple of circumstances he had easy chances that he could exploit. By now the opponents know him, against teams that are closed and they can be satisfied with the result it's normal we have less space and he can improve on the flanks where he has already shown progress."
