Udinese coach Luca Gotti left frustrated after Crotone draw

Udinese coach Luca Gotti was left frustrated after their 0-0 draw with Crotone.

Gotti insists they only lacked a goal on Tuesday night.

“We were only lacking a goal, which admittedly isn't a small detail in football, but you can't say we didn't try," Gotti told Sky Sport Italia.

“We had two goals ruled offside, it's a pity. My idea of football is to take the initiative and control the game. We are improving our passing, and what I care about is not so much possession as the quality of possession to create chances.

Crotone played their game, we tried to win, and I thought it'd be too risky to pack the team with strikers and leave large spaces for them to counter."

Udinese seemed to lose intensity with Rodrigo De Paul's knee problem, yet he played on to the final whistle.

“He told me it wasn't serious, it was just a knock."
