Udinese coach Gotti insists equalliser deserved despite complaints from Bologna's Mihajlovic

Udinese coach Luca Gotti insists they deserved their 1-1 draw with Bologna.

Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic complained about the Zebrette's equaliser, insisting Udinese defender Becao fouled goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski before Beto tapped home.

"I didn't like the game, we were too sloppy in the first half and I said it to my players during the break. However, the second half was different," Gotti told DAZN.

“I understand Mihajlovic, but I don't want to replicate. I know he's disappointed about a draw with a man up, but the first impression I have is that Skorupski bumped into Becao, not the other way around. Some incidents can make a difference."

Gotti also said, “We conceded too much to Bologna and we committed mistakes which we need to analyse.

“Beto has impressed me since I saw him train with us.

“He has something special, something different from the others."
