Udinese coach Gabriele Cioffi was left frustrated after their 1-0 Coppa Italia defeat to Lazio.

Ciro Immobile struck the only goal of the tie in extra-time.

Cioffi said: “It might seem strange, but I think we did everything possible to win this game.

“I saw a team that was tough, hungry, with a winning mentality. The only thing we didn't have was the result. I am proud of what I saw on that pitch and it's annoying that we didn't go through.

“Even though we worked really hard, we seemed a little rusty in front of goal. It's been a difficult period with so many absentees, let's not forget that."
