Udinese are reportedly close to signing Arsenal defender Pablo Mari.

The Italian club want to sign Mari on loan until the end of the season, per Fabrizio Romano.

Spanish stopper Mari has managed just three appearances for the Gunners this season.

Sampdoria were also showing interest in the former Flamengo man.

Udinese will cover some of Mari's wages but they won't have the option to buy.
