Tyrese Campbell struck a hat-trick as Stoke City U23 defeated Fulham on Saturday.

The 18-year-old produced a brilliant all-round performance to inspire a 4-1 win for the U23s against Fulham at the bet365 Stadium.

He scored a second half hat-trick having already set up the opener for Ollie Shenton, showing the kind of pressing that Paul Lambert demands of his forwards.

Coach Wade Elliott said: "The noise will all be about Tyrese and you don't want to detract from all the good performances around him as well … but I know your next question will be about Tyrese!

“Ty was excellent. We know the kid can finish, we know he can score goals, but there are other elements of his game that I thought he did really well. He just needs to keep chipping away, chipping away and working on those little bits."
