Two clubs waiting for Man Utd Alexis deal to collapse - Balague

Respected Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has claimed 'two clubs' are lurking to sign Alexis Sanchez if his mooted switch to Manchester United falls through.

The Chilean is expected to leave Arsenal by the weekend as his teammates are becoming increasingly disgruntled with how the saga is playing out.

Balague says mentions Chelsea as one of the teams, and also suggests another club are keeping an eye on the situation.

Given Liverpool and Manchester City have crossed a line in their interest for Sanchez, that leaves both Madrid clubs - Real and Atletico - as the only logical destinations.

It has been reported that the United deal hinges on whether Henrikh Mkhitaryan will move the other way.

The Armenian has fallen out of favour with Jose Mourinho and wants to leave the club.

However, his wage demands and the commission for his controversial agent, Mino Raiola, are still being negotiated.
