England did the unthinkable and were beaten by Iceland in the Round of 16 at Euro2016.
The Three Lions took an early lead in Nice through Wayne Rooney's penalty but were pegged back by the Nordic minnows with Ragnar Sigurdsson slotting home a long throw-in from Aron Gunnarsson in the sixth minute.
Kolbeinn Sigthorsson then fired beyond Joe Hart in the 18th minute which eventually sent Iceland through to the quarter-finals where they will meet hosts France in Paris on Sunday.
Below are some of the best Twitter reactions from some past England players, a Manchester United great and some current Iceland stars.
Seems we're desperate to get out of Europe in all ways.

The worst defeat in our history. England beaten by a country with more volcanoes than professional footballers. Well played Iceland.

What a sporting acheivement for iceland. But Gone into a tournament not knowing the best team. Did the shape suit our players?? Not for me.

Hodgson so tactically inept again all tournament. How he kept his job after 2014 WC debacle still baffles me!
