Turks angry with Hiddink touting himself to Chelsea

The Turkish Federation are angry with Guus Hiddink for touting himself to Chelsea.

The London Evening Standard says the Dutchman is now expected to be named as Chelsea's new boss before the end of the week but he will leave much bitterness behind.

Turkish Football Federation chief executive Mahmut Ozgener is due to be replaced in elections later this month but he is unhappy that Hiddink has openly declared his desire to move back to Stamford Bridge.

His frustration is being aimed more at the 64-year-old Dutchman than Chelsea. The Turks were made to wait for six months before Hiddink would talk to them about leaving his job with Russia yet he is now keen on an immediate switch to Stamford Bridge.

Turker Tozar, a spokesman for the TFF, said today: "He [Hiddink] always says the same things - he says nothing concrete. There is uncertainty everywhere."
