Turkish TV pundits have been left furious with Ozan Tufan because of his antics in the build-up to Luka Modric's goal in the 1-0 defeat in their opening Euro2016 match.
The Fenerbahce midfielder was caught lightly jogging and brushing his hair over his head instead of closing down Modric just before the Real Madrid ace produced a stunning strike in the first-half of the game.
The strike from Modric eventually proved to be the difference between the two sides in their first Group D fixture, making Tufan's relaxed behaviour in such a cut-throat environment attract plenty of ire from Turkey fans and reporters alike.
Fatih Terim's side next meet defending Euro champions Spain in Nice on Friday.
