Igor Tudor was delighted after Hellas Verona's shock victory over Roma.
The Croat had been appointed earlier this week after Eusebio Di Francesco's sacking.
“I'm clearly happy. It's a good win and it comes after a long time," Tudor told DAZN.
“The lads put in an extraordinary performance. It wasn't an easy game, but we kept the same intensity for the whole game and I am really happy. We can always improve, we need the right mentality and never give up. We need to improve our playing style, but it takes personality to win a game like this," he added.
“My friend Juric made a great job here over the last two years. I need to add something to what he did.
“I tried to do anything I could, but it wasn't easy with only a few days available. I am their third coach in just a few months."
