Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is stepping up interest in Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule.

Tuchel wishes to add an experienced centre-half to his squad for next season and is considering several options - including Sule.

Abendzeitung reports Chelsea are prepared to cough up to convince Bayern to part with the Germany international.

With just over a year to run on his existing contract, Sule is pricing himself out of a new deal at Bayern.

As such, the German giants are willing to listen to offers for the 25 year-old in the coming months.
