Toni Rudiger was banished from Chelsea's training ground on Sunday after physically clashing with teammate Kepa Arrizabalaga, it has been revealed.
The players were involved in a heated argument that eventually got physical with the pair pushing each other.
Rudiger was sent to the changing room to calm down with the incident starting after he came in late on Arrizabalaga during a training game, reports the Telegraph.
The Spanish goalkeeper completed the session with manager Thomas Tuchel adjudging him to be in control of his emotions, but didn't feel similarly about his compatriot.
Rudiger was reportedly not calming down quick enough and was subsequently sent in early.
The defender has since apologised to Arrizabalaga and Tuchel is content to draw a line under proceedings.
Meanwhile, captain Cesar Azpilicueta and Reece James are said to have been involved in a heated discussion in the aftermath of the West Brom defeat.
James was partially to blame for the Baggies second goal as the Blues' defence fell apart following Thiago Silva's red card.
The skipper and the right-back have since spoken in private as they attempted to settle their differences and there was no issue between them in training on Sunday.
