Birmingham City are moving for Georgian midfielder Levan Tskitishvili on a short-term contract.

Tskitishvili is set to join Blues until the end of the campaign.

The 31-year-old, recently released by Greek club Panionios, has impressed Alex McLeish while training with City at their Wast Hills complex.

Tskitishvili has won more than 50 caps for his country and previously played for Dinamo Tbilisi and German sides Freiburg and Wolfsburg.

McLeish confirmed: "Levan is training with us because we are very short in that department(midfield). We are trying to do some kind of deal there to add to the midfield."
