Norwich City boss Alex Neill was absolutely thrilled with his team in the wake of Tuesday night's win at Everton.
The Canaries defeated Ronald Koeman's in-form Toffees 2-0 in the third round of the EFL Cup at Goodison Park thanks to goals either side of the break from Steven Naismith and Josh Murphy.
"I'm delighted," said Neil.
"I thought the players that came in applied themselves extremely well. We sat behind the ball and made it difficult for them and tried to hit them on the counter attack.
"We managed to score two goals off the back of it and I thought it was a great performance from all the boys because a lot of them haven't played a lot of football recently."
