Atletico Madrid fullback Kieran Trippier recognises Anfield will be a factor in tonight's Champions League showdown.

Atletico face Liverpool defending a 1-0 aggregate lead for the round 16 second-leg encounter.

Trippier stated: "Anfield is one of the best stadiums to play in. The fans are amazing, I have talked with my teammates about the atmosphere there.

“They will try to be as intimidating as possible, but we have to go with a mentality to qualify.

“It will be complicated, but we are ready for the challenge. Our fans are very important, we hope to get the result we want."
