Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier is ready to fight for his spot in the Spurs starting eleven.
The 25-year-old arrived from Burnley in a £3.5million deal in the summer but has managed to feature in only two league games this season.
Tripper made his first league start for Spurs in the 2-1 victory over Watford on Monday and put in an impressive performance at Vicarage Road which included the cross for Son Heung-min's late winner.
"I'm not playing every week but I try to do well every day in training and impress," said Trippier. "The manager believed in me to give a good performance.
"And the most important thing is we got the three points and it's pushed us further up the table.
"I want to get forward as much as I can and get as many balls into the box for (Harry Kane) and whoever's on the end of it. I was happy to get an assist.
"It was a great finish but that's no surprise from Sonny because he does it in training every day, with the skills he's got."
