AC Milan have joined the likes of Everton, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia.

Despite being the club captain, Ranocchia has fallen down the pecking order at Inter this season and it is widely believed that the Italian international will be looking to leave the San Siro during the January transfer window.

A move to the Premier League for the 27-year old had been on the agenda recently as the Toffees, Magpies and Spurs were all showing interest but Italian publication Mediaset Premium that the Rossoneri are eyeing a swoop to keep the centre-back in Milan.
