Tribal Trends - Transfers: Man Utd offered Aubameyang; Everton wait for Lampard; Coutinho Liverpool reunion

We're well into the summer market now. Who's excited?!

With the season now over, most of the attention has turned to the summer transfer window.

There are stories and speculation swirling around everywhere. Sometimes it feels overwhelming.

But please don't stress, because here at Tribalfootballwe will summarise the biggest stories throughout football each week and let you know whether you should believe the paper talk or not…

Manchester United

Players Involved: Christian Eriksen, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison

According to the Mirror, whilst Paul Pogba's departure from Manchester United is not certain, should it occur, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be looking to sign a replacement as quickly as possible.

Solskjaer is said to have three players on his shortlist to replace Pogba – Youri Tielemans, Christian Eriksen and James Maddison.

At first glance, each player either lacks something Pogba has or has something the Frenchman lacks, for instance:

Tielemans has Pogba's physicality but lacks his explosive speed, Eriksen lacks the Frenchman's physicality but possesses excellent playmaking qualities, whilst Maddison is in the same boat with Eriksen.

All three players, though, definitely have what it takes to replace Pogba at United – it all depends on who Ole deems as the best fit for the role.

Eriksen is easily Pogba's best potential replacement – hence United are likely to go all out to sign him should Pogba leave for Juventus or Real Madrid. Whether Daniel Levy will be willing to let his star midfielder go is unknown, though.

Likelihood: Anything is possible if United sell Pogba

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - Arsenal

Clubs Interested:Manchester United, Chinese Super League outfits

Due to their budget restrictions Arsenal are having a difficult time signing the players they want, with Crystal Palace most recently laughing off the Gunners' bid for Wilfried Zaha.

Arsenal are now reportedly willing to let Aubameyang leave the club for a knockdown price of £56m in order to reinvest the funds in other areas of the squad.

The 30-year-old managed to bag 22 league goals last season finishing joint top with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane as the Premier League's highest goal scorer.

Manchester United are reportedly keen on acquiring his services and a £56m asking price wouldn't be too steep for the Red Devils to cough up considering their financial standing.

Aubameyang is a key part of Arsenal's set-up but he's also 30 years old and almost past his prime. Arsenal could really use the funds from his transfer to bolster the squad.

Likelihood: Don't rule it out

Kurt Zouma- Chelsea

Clubs Interested:Everton

According to Goal, Chelsea are waiting for Frank Lampard to be appointed before a decision is taken on the Frenchman's future at the club.

Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is expected to be appointed as manager of the club very soon, hence; the club's administration is keen for him to take the helm before major a major decision is made on Zouma's future.

Everton will be hoping that Lampard deems Zouma surplus to requirements as they are interested in bringing him on board on a permanent basis after reaping the benefits of having him on loan last season.

Lampard is unlikely to deem Zouma surplus to requirements as Chelsea are competing on multiple fronts next season thus, they need a lot of depth in the squad.

Likelihood: Can't see it happening

Isco Real Madrid

Clubs Interested: Manchester City

Real Madrid have informed Manchester City that they can sign Isco this summer as the Citizens look to strengthen their already impressive lineup.

Pep Guardiola is a huge fan of Isco as he ticks all the boxes regarding what the former Barcelona man needs from a midfielder - Isco is incredibly nimble, possesses Pirlo-esque speed of thought, and is a great passer of the ball – he'd fit right into City's lineup.

Isco is viewed as David Silva's direct replacement with the Manchester City icon set to leave the club at the end of next season.

According to Onda Cero, Real Madrid's asking price for Isco is £80m, a fee City shouldn't have much of a problem paying for a player poised to replace David Silva.

Likelihood: Let's see what Zidane says

Philippe Coutinho - Barcelona

Clubs Interested:Liverpool

According to Sport, Liverpool are exploring the possibility of re-signing Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona.

Coutinho was a real fan favourite at Liverpool thanks to his trademark long-range shots which consistently earned the Reds points in the Premier League.

The interest in Coutinho stems from Liverpool's inability to come to an agreement with Real Madrid over a fee for Marco Asensio.

Barcelona have reportedly deemed Coutinho surplus to requirements and are ready to take a loss on the midfielder's sale, as they realistically can't make back as much as they spent on him.

Coutinho to Liverpool seems very unlikely, he just doesn't seem like he can fit into Liverpool's current lineup considering every player is already performing a key role that aids the team's cohesion on the pitch.

Likelihood: No reunion for Phil
