TRIBAL TRENDS – TOP 5: Florentino offers Jose 'untouchables'? Mourinho takes swipe at United trio? Neymar weighs in on Barca coaching appointment?

This week, our loyal Tribal readers focused primarily on Manchester United and Barcelona, with a just sprinkle of Manchester City and Liverpoool.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez hasreportedly given Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho a choice out of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric or Karim Benzema, in exchange for long coveted target, United keeper David De Gea.

It is understood that De Gea has a buyout clause of €70 million, but Perez is reluctant to spend that much on a keeper and has instead offered Mourinho one of his supposed 'untouchables.'

With such a big deal on the cards, it is no wonder that this story was by far the most popular amongst Tribal readers.

Meanwhile, Mourinho has enough problems with his own squad going into Thursday's crucial Europa League semi final clash with Celta Vigo.

With injuries making life difficult for the Portuguese, he remainsunimpressed with the commitment of defenders Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw.

However, the grumpy manager praised Juan Mata's fighting spirit after he made himself available despite being injured.

According to Don Balon, Neymar has offered his recommendation for the Barcelona managerial position when it becomes vacant at the end of the season.

The flashy winger put forward the suggestion of hiring his Brazil coach Tite.

Wisely listening to their star, Barcelona approached the 55-year old but were promptly rejected, as he remains focused on the Selecao's 2018 World Cup campaign.

We could have ourselves a Champions League final on the last day of the Premier League season, according to The Mirror.

Fingers crossed that both Liverpool and Manchester City are in the positions of fourth and fifth when the last day of the season rolls around. It will be a truly incredible match!

And rounding off our top five for the week is Tribal's very own Chris Beattie.

Chris's take on how Manchester United should focus on experience and leadership in the summer transfer windowis must read stuff.
