TRIBAL STATS: Why Watford's late win over Arsenal should worry Chelsea

Amongst all the big stories from the week in football, Watford's shock win against Arsenal stood out as one of the most surprising.

Following a lapse in concentration, the Gunners defence allowed Tom Cleverley to pop up in the box and put away a 92nd minute winner, sending the home fans into delirium.

The winner against Arsenal was notable not just for being an unexpected late goal, but also because it helped Watford to extend a rather impressive stat. Watford have now taken points from 3 consecutive games due to a goal scored in injury time.

Although he may be leaving it late, new manager Marco Silva has been working wonders with his new side, ensuring Watford get off to one of their best starts in history.

For comparison, Watford stole points in injury time just once during the entirety of last season under previous manager Walter Mazzarri. This season they have done it three times already from just eight games.

He may leave it a little close for comfort, but it cannot be denied that Marco Silva gets the job done.

The most important stat for Watford fans is that they currently sit in 4th position on the table, joined in the top 6 by Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

Marco Silva has done a remarkable job so far at turning around a side that only finished one spot above relegation last season.

Watford also remain undefeated away from home this season, a stat that will be tested next weekend at Stamford Bridge against the reigning title holders, Chelsea. Fresh off of a shock loss to lowly Crystal Palace, Chelsea will be desperate to bounce back with a win.

By pushing hard for a big win to settle the nerves of their supporters, Chelsea may just leave themselves prone to being scored against. Could Watford stretch their spectacular run of last gasp results to four with an upset against the Blues? We'll have to wait and see.

One thing is for sure however, and that is that Watford fans are having their stress levels tested this season.
