David Trezeguet has been named new president of the Juventus Legends.

The Juventus Legends are a team of ex-stars who travel round the world playing exhibition matches.

"I can say it officially now: I've hung up my boots after a long career," the French striker told JTV.

"It was a wonderful career, on a personal level too. A wonderful story all round. I'm happy because now I have the chance to start a new adventure with the club where I grew up as a player and as a man.

"I'll be able to keep growing in my new role as President of Juventus Legends. I'm thrilled, because it's a project Juve have been working on for a while and something that lots of other big European clubs are starting to do now.

"It's an interesting project and I'm sure we can develop it with other former Juve players."
