The Athletic reports Alexander-Arnold is expected to return to Liverpool training this week.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp said before the game with Ajax that Alexander-Arnold was edging closer to making his return.

He will return to full training this week in a timely boost for the Reds.

The England international was taken off during the 1-1 draw against Manchester City last month with a hamstring injury.
