Trabzonspor striker Alexander Sorloth has spoken of his problems at parent club Crystal Palace.
Sorloth is currently on-loan at Trabzonspor, where his form has attracted interest from Real Madrid and Manchester United.
Recalling his first days with Palace last season, he told Dagbladet: "I got a goal canceled against Chelsea. I mean, it was a mistake. If I had scored, I would have built up strong self-confidence.
"The rest of the season I didn't get a single minute. It went beyond confidence that I was not allowed to play more than four matches.
"Everything culminated in the final round when Roy Hodgson took out 19 or 20 men for the squad. At the players' meeting before the game, I was told that I was not involved. I should be in the stands. That, I remember, went beyond confidence. I felt far away from the team."
