Trabzonspor are in talks with Leicester City midfielder Nampalys Mendy.

Mendy comes off contract at the end of next month and is ready to leave Leicester after struggling for regular action under manager Brendan Rodgers.

Udinese are also keen on the midfielder, though Trabzonspor have the resources to offer Mendy better terms.

Mendy moved to champions Leicester, managed by his former boss at Monaco, Claudio Ranieri, on a four-year deal for £13 million in 2016, a club record at the time.

But the France international has never managed to establish himself with the Foxes.
