Trabzonspor playmaker Yusuf Yazici remains a target for Cardiff City - even if they're relegated.

The Mirror says Cardiff are still interested in Yazici.

The Bluebirds are looking for an immediate return to the Premier League and sent scouts to watch the 22-year-old this week.

After failing with a £12m bid in January, they are considering another attempt for the Turk.

Trabzonspor president Ahmet Agaoglu has revealed: “I don't want to sell the players just for the money. It has to be the right club where they can continue their developments.

“For example, Cardiff City made a €14m offer for Yusuf Yazici during the winter transfer window. If we negotiated it, they were willing to up their offer up to €20m but we didn't want to do that."
