Trabzonspor have confirmed a bid from RB Leipzig for Alexander Sorloth.

While the Norway international remains registered to Crystal Palace, Trabzonspor hold a permanent option for the striker and intend to trigger it.

Trabzonspor intend to sign Sorloth for €6m and sell him on for a bumper profit.

A spokesman for the Turkish giants stated: "We have received an official offer from RB Leipzig for Alexander Sörloth, and the offer will be evaluated by the board in line with what is best for the club and its ambitions."

On-loan with Trabzonspor last season, Sorloth scored 34 goals in 49 games.
