Everton winger Andros Townsend believes the club's supporters will take a liking to new boss Rafa Benitez.
The Spaniard is a former Liverpool boss, but signed to take the hot seat at the Goodison Park club this summer.
Townsend, who also joined this summer on a free transfer from Crystal Palace, believes Benitez will win over the passionate Toffees in the stands. He told The Guardian: "Everyone can understand the connection between the two clubs and why there was opposition to him getting the job but he will win the fans over, for sure, with his passion, his attention to detail, the way he wants to play and how hard he works. "Once we get up and running, I am sure the fans will warm to him. He had a similar thing at Chelsea. I am sure it will not faze him."
