Tottenham's World Cup players will cut short their summer holidays so to prepare themselves for their Champions League campaign.
Manager Harry Redknapp has EIGHT men in South Africa, including five with England. If any of them reach the Final, their involvement will not finish until July 11.
FIFA recommend that after an intensive competition, the players are given a four-week break.
But that would mean the Spurs contingent not reporting back until the start of August - just a week before the club's Champions League third qualifying round.
The players not involved in the World Cup return on July 7. But boss Redknapp said: "There will be no four-week break for my players. It will be two weeks.
"Once they finish playing in the World Cup, they can go away and spend two weeks on the beach somewhere and then come back to Tottenham. They will all know which date they have to return."
