Tottenham without Dembele for PSV clash

Tottenham Hotspur will be without Mousa Dembele for their all important Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday night.

Spurs have just won point from three games and need a victory over the Dutch giants to keep alive their slim hopes of qualification for the knock-out stages.

But they will have to do without Dembele who has not recovered in time from an ankle injury sustained during Saturday's win over Wolves.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino said on Tuesday: "We need to wait today after the scan to have a better idea.

"The most important thing is he didn't suffer an injury to his bone. That is good. Maybe his ligament is damaged but we need to know - today after the scan we will know better."
