Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is unlikely to allow Andros Townsend to leave the club on loan this month.
The 24-year-old winger is desperate to depart White Hart Lane this winter but according to The Telegraph, Levy is refusing to budge on his £14million valuation and is only looking to sell outright rather than let him go temporarily.
Watford and West Bromwich Albion are showing considerable interest in a loan deal for Townsend but it appears as though Levy is making life difficult for the 10-time England international who was not even included in Mauricio Pochettino's match day squad for the weekend's FA Cup third-round clash with Leicester City.
Townsend, who scored twice for the U21s against Chelsea on Monday, last played for Spurs in October and is believed to be no closer to forcing his way into Pochettino's plans anytime soon.
