Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp will make an improved offer for Internacional striker Leandro Damiao.
The Sun says the Brazilian club's president Giovanni Luigi claims they have rejected a £10.3million bid - believed to be from Tottenham.
The 21-year-old made his international debut against Scotland at the Emirates in March.
Luigi said: "I warned he will only leave at the end of the year and for more money."
Redknapp is keen to add a striker after Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch and Roman Pavlyuchenko all struggled last season.
