Kevin Mirallas could be about to disappoint Tottenham and West Ham United by signing a new deal with Everton.
Mirallas' future at Goodison Park had been uncertain after the Belgian had put off signing a new deal, and with 12 months remaining on his current contract it appeared likely that Everton would cash in on the Greek forward.
However, Everton chairman Bill Kenwright and the players' agent Christope Henrotay have held discussions and a deal is now in place for Mirallas to extend his stay with the Toffees.
Mirallas, who is expected to follow James McCarthy and put pen to a new deal, had been linked with several clubs including Spurs and the Hammers who will now have to look elsewhere for a new winger.
