Tottenham want £5m for Kaboul

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has slapped a £5million asking price on Younes Kaboul.

The 29-year old French centre-back is being heavily linked with a summer departure after experiencing a tough season under Mauricio Pochettino.

Kaboul was named captain by the Argentine upon his arrival as new boss last summer but appeared only 11 times in the Premier League and could be offloaded.

According to The Guardian, Levy's valuation of the former Auxerre and Portsmouth defender is likely to ward off any potential suitors.

Kaboul is contracted with Spurs until next summer.
