Tottenham urged to go higher for Real Betis midfielder Lo Celso

Tottenham are being urged to go higher to land Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.

Sky Sports says Betis would likely accept a bid of £70million for Tottenham target Lo Celso.

The Argentinian midfielder has been on Spurs' radar for some time but the two clubs cannot agree on a fee.

The ex-PSG man has an £88m release clause but the Spanish club would accept £18m less.

But Spurs are still hesitant despite not spending a penny on transfer fees last season.

Lo Celso is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League and is eager to work with fellow Argentine Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs.
