Tottenham are set to conclude the transfer of Steven Bergwijn from PSV Eindhoven this week.

The North London side are close to an agreement with PSV.

Sky Sports suggest the fee for the player is £25.6 million.

The Netherland star is viewed as a replacement for Christian Eriksen, who left for Inter Milan this week.

The 22-year-old is not in the PSV squad for their coming game against FC Twente.

Bergwijn has five goals and ten assists in 16 league games for PSV this term.

A PSV statement read: "Steven Bergwijn did not join his PSV team-mates for training on Tuesday morning.

"Bergwijn has been given permission by PSV to travel to England to finalise a move."
