Tottenham tie down youngster Onomah

Josh Onomah has signed a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur.

The 18-year-old attacking midfielder/forward has put pen to a long-term deal which will see him remain at White Hart Lane until the summer of 2020.

It is the second contract Onomah has signed this season having penned a deal that would take him through to 2019 back in July.

Onomah, who has 14 appearances in all competitions for Spurs, was over the moon after again committing himself to his hometown club.

"It's a dream come true. Since I was a youngster it was my dream to play for Tottenham, so I've got to get my head down and carry on working," he said on Spurs TV.

"This shows that if you work hard you'll get the rewards. Thanks to the gaffer. He trusts me, puts me in tough games and has given me minutes.

"I thank him, the fans and everyone else around me for their support."
