Danny Drinkwater has reportedly turned down a new contract offer from Leicester City.
The Sun suggests that the Foxes midfielder has rejected a new and improved bid from the reigning Premier League champions amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
It is understood that Drinkwater rebuffed an £80,000-per-week which has alerted Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
However, Leicester are set to return with a deal closer to £100,000-a-week for the 26-year-old who was a key performer for Claudio Ranieri's side in their 2015/16 triumph.
