Lille captain Rio Mavuba has heaped praise on teammate Sofiane Boufal.
The 22-year-old midfielder has emerged on the radar of Tottenham who are being linked with a January move for his services.
The London Evening Standardreports that Mavuba has compared French-born Morcco international Boufal to Chelsea ace Eden Hazard who has starred in the Premier League since arriving from Lille in 2012.
"He reminds me of Eden when he was playing here," said Mavuba.
"It is striking, he likes the ball, even if he plays too much sometimes. But he is young, you have to let him grow."
Spurs have reportedly been scouting Boufal recently and may go after him in the winter although a pursuit in the summer, once the talented playmaker has a full Ligue 1 season under his belt, is a more likely scenario.
