Ross Barkley has been left out of Everton's Netherlands squad with a groin problem.
Ronald Koeman had stated that Barkley missed the Toffees recent trip to Tanzania because of injury and disregarded speculation that he was absent because he was due to exit the Merseyside club.
The 23-year old is about the enter the final year of his contract, but extension negotiations have stalled.
Koeman publicly stated that unless Barkley re-signed with the club, he would be sold before the start of the season.
Tottenham are said to be the most interested suitor for the Englishman, however, they are not willing to pay the £50m that Everton are asking for.
