Tottenham will assess their summer signing Son Heung-min's foot injury on Friday to determine whether the South Korean can feature against Liverpool next week.
The 26-year-old, who has scored three goals for Spurs since his arrival, injured his foot in the 4-1 win against Manchester City and will continue to be monitored ahead of the October 17 home meeting with the Reds.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino had said last week that Son's fitness would be assessed on a day-to-day basis: "We hope it's not a big issue but he has a problem in his foot and we need to assess it day-by-day, but maybe he will be out for a few weeks."
