Tottenham striker Heung-min Son admits he's excited to be playing for new South Korea coach Jurgen Klinsmann.
The German will lead the country into the 2026 World Cup after replacing Paul Bento following their round of 16 loss to Brazil.
Klinsmann, a cult-hero at Spurs following two playing spells in the 1990s, has been out of work since leaving Hertha Berlin after only ten weeks in charge back in 2020.
Speaking of his appointment, Spurs forward Son said: “At Tottenham, we still have people who spent time with coach Klinsmann back in his playing days, and he has such a sterling reputation.
“I have only had brief conversations with him, but I could already tell he was a great man who cares so much about players.
“Tottenham official told me we have an exceptional coach for south Korea, and that has only raised my expectations."
