Tottenham striker Pavlyuchenko not angling for Roma switch

Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko insists he's not angling for a move to Roma.

Pavlyuchenko told Russian newspaper Sport Express: "First my agent Oleg Artemov, and then I talked with the manager, and he assured us that he Pavlyuchenko is in his plans. He said not to read newspapers and have bad thoughts in my head.

"Let's wait for July 7, when we start pre-season, and then we'll talk about who has appeared in the team. So far, everything is rumour."

He added: "Everything depends on me: how I perform in training and friendly matches. And I intend to do everything possible."
