Tottenham striker Lucas Moura: I came here for trophies

Tottenham attacker Lucas Moura says that he came to the club to win trophies.

After a hugely impressive display to get into the Champions League semi finals at the expense of Manchester City, Moura does not want the team to stop.

He wants them to kick on, make the final and win it.

Spurs face off against Ajax in the semis, with the first leg in London followed by the return clash in Holland.

"It's the first time I've played in the semi-finals," said the Brazil forward to reporters ahead of the game.

"It's a dream for me. When I was a child I had it in my head to win the Champions League. Now I can play in the semi-final, I'm very happy and proud of my team-mates. It's not finished, now is not enough. I want to go to the final and win the competition.

"I joined Tottenham [in January last year] because I believed in this project. When I saw the structure of the club and the stadium project, I believed it would be very good for me.

"I understood the ambition of the club. In the new stadium you need to think to win trophies to make history. That's why I am here, to help make history.

"We are already in the semis, we made history, but I want more, I want trophies!"
