Tottenham striker Kane cancels event due to illness ahead of Norwich clash

Tottenham forward Harry Kane had to cancel a media event with sickness this week.

The England captain is struggling with an unspecified illness, which may cause him to miss the team's final game of the Premier League season.

Spurs have a vital clash against Norwich, which they must win to guarantee a top four finish and Champions League football for next season.

Ex-Spurs forward Gary Linekar had earlier tweeted: "Hearing there's a food poisoning outbreak at @SpursOfficial. No, I am not joking."

However, various British media outlets suggest that Spurs have refuted those claims.

There is an illness going around the squad from the previous week, but it is not food poisioning.

In addition, boss Antonio Conte suggested Kane may be fit enough to play agianst Norwich.
