Tottenham striker Kane breaks new Premier League goalscoring record

Tottenham striker Harry Kane broke a new goalscoring record in defeat to Sheffield United on Thursday.

Kane made history against Sheffield United, his goal confirming his status as the only player in Premier League history to score against every team he has faced.

The England captain had previously scored against 28 of the 29 teams he'd faced, with the Blades the final piece of the puzzle.

Kane's goal was nothing more than a consolation, however, coming in stoppage time as Tottenham slumped to a 3-1 defeat.

Premier League greats Andy Cole scored against 38 of the 40 teams he came up against, with all-time top scorer Alan Shearer scoring against 37 of 39.
