Tottenham striker Fernando Llorente open to LaLiga return

Tottenham striker Fernando Llorente has again stated he'd welcome a return to Spain.

Llorente has found himself on the outer at Spurs this season, though insists he accepts his backup role.

"I've been away from home for many years, I'd love to go back to the Spanish league," said Llorente, who played a part in the fight-back last night to beat Champions League opponents PSV Eindhoven.

"I came in and things went well, so I'm happy to have helped the team, I hope I continue to have opportunities, it's important for me because it gives me the confidence to keep working, it's not easy when you do not play because mentally you have to be very strong to continue training hard.

"For nobody it is enough (the role of substitute), all players want to play always, but it is the role that is touching me."
