Tottenham striker Peter Crouch admits England coach Fabio Capello keeps his distance from the players.
He revealed England's boss never explained why he was not even on the bench for Saturday's 2-2 draw at Wembley.
Crouch told The Sun: "If I'm left out at Tottenham, Harry Redknapp will tell me why I'm not playing and let me know where I stand.
"Capello keeps himself distant. He's not the sort of manager who puts an arm around his players.
"But I'll continue to play for my country for as long as I can, regardless of who the manager is."
