Emmanuel Adebayor is set to join Aston Villa according to reports.

Sky Sports suggests that the Tottenham striker is in the West Midlands and will undergo a medical on Wednesday.

Adebayor did not travel to the US with the Spurs squad for their clash with the MLS All-Stars in Denver and was reportedly in attendance at Villa's training ground on Tuesday.

The former Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid forward is out of favour at White Hart Lane and is now expected to reunite with Tim Sherwood for whom he scored 14 goals in 24 appearances in the second part of the 2013/14 season.
