Tottenham still undecided on loan deal for Rose

Tottenham have still not made a decision over whether to loan out starlet Danny Rose, according to assistant manager Kevin Bond. Rose shot to prominence with a wonderful volleyed goal in Spurs' defeat of bitter rivals Arsenal last season, but has struggled to force his way into manager Harry Redknapp's starting line-up.

The 20-year-old spent time at Watford and Peterborough last year, but Spurs have yet to decide where the winger will be plying his trade this season.

"I don't think that we are looking to send anyone out on loan at the moment," Bond told skysports.com.

"There will be a number of players that do go out on loan because we have got a large squad here, but Harry will use the friendlies to assemble his first-team squad and then he will decide which of those he will make available to go out on loan.

"There hasn't been any decisions made on that front yet though, so the stories linking Danny Rose with a loan move are rather premature at this stage."
